San Diego, CA, January 30, 2003-The Blue Dük Liner is the newest member of the Curtis Resources, Inc. Family. The 14"w x 24"h x 3 ½”d shower shelf joins the Red-14"w x 6"h x 3 ½”d and Yellow-14"w x 14"h x 3 ½”d Düks and is the largest of the shelves.

Curtis Resources, Inc. began manufacturing Dük Liners, a niche liner/shower shelf constructed of resilient ABS plastic, in 2000. Dük Liners, an alternative to the construction of custom shower shelves, were designed by a veteran contractor to eliminate time and the worry of leakage while also minimizing the cost of material and labor; all of which are issues contractors, tile installers and do-it-yourselfers.

Like the Red and Yellow, the Blue Dük Liner can be used in a variety of ways. Whereas Dük Liners were initially contrived as an alternative to custom shower shelves and prefabricated porcelain soap dishes, they can also be used to provide housing for recessed hose bibs, shadow boxes, medicine cabinets and backsplashes. The creativity lies in the eye of its beholder.

Within the past two years, Dük Liners have gained nationwide acceptance among tile installers, distributors, retailers, builders, contractors, architects and do-it-yourselfers. Adhesion testing and warranties from Mapei, Custom Building Products, Bostik Findley, Laticrete and Dow Corning (TEC is currently in the testing process) initially lent assurance to interested parties who were unfamiliar with the Dük Liner product line.

The demand for a larger Dük Liner was the reason Curtis Resources, Inc. manufactured the Blue Dük.
