Dük Liner™ Holds True In Sticky Situations.

San Diego, CA, September 24, 2002-Adhesion testing is complete and as a result, Curtis Resources, Inc. is promoting five major adhesive companies that provide warranted bonding agents for their Dük Liner product line. Curtis Resources, Inc. began manufacturing Dük Liners, a niche liner/shower shelf constructed of resilient ABS plastic, in 2000. Last year, adhesion testing began with Bostik Findley, Custom Building Products®, LATICRETE INTERNATIONAL, INC., Mapei® and Dow Corning®. Each of the aforementioned companies participated by testing varied adhesives to best determine warranted bonds between Dük Liners and tile.

Bostik Findley:

Hydroment Tile-Mate Premium™ mixed with 447 Flex-A-Lastic™ flexible Mortar Admixture or Hydroment Reflex™ Mortar as a setting bed in conjunction with mechanical fasteners such as galvanized nails or screws.

Custom Building Products®:

MasterBlend™ Thin-Set Mortar mixed with 100% CustomFlex™ Ultra-Strength Thin-Set Additive, FlexBond® Premium Flexible Bonding Mortar

Dük Liner™ Holds True…

Dow Corning®:

DOW CORNING® 795 Silicone Building Sealant, DOW CORNING® 995 Silicone Structural Adhesive (Please see Structural Application Guidelines at www.dowcorning.com for information pertaining to installation and setting times)

LATAPOXY® 300 Epoxy Adhesive

MAPEI®:

KERABOND KERALASTIC System, GRANI/RAPID System, KERAPOXY® Mortar, PLANICRETE® W, ULTRA/FLEX 3, ULTRA/FLEX RS, KERABOND Dry-Set Mortar with Keraply, ULTRAFLEX 2 One Step Mortar, KER 121 One Step Mortar, KERASET Dry-Set Mortar with Keraply.

Dük Liner was designed by a veteran contractor to eliminate time and the worry of leakage while also minimizing the cost of material and labor; all of which are issues contractors, tile installers and do-it-yourselfers face when constructing custom shower shelves.
